Farzad Kootyzadeh

I started Taekwondo in 1996 in Iran.
From the beginning I had a particular interest in sparring and after a few months of practicing Taekwondo took part in my first competition. In 1998 I achieved my 1st Dan black belt at which point started competing in the Iranian professional league. During my career as a fighter I achieved numerous regional tittles.

I gained my 3rd Dan in 2007 and my 4th Dan more recently.
I started to get involved in coaching when I moved to the UK in 2005 and have been a member of the coaching staff of Ocean and Master Taekwondo Associations.
Currently I am a qualified corner judge as well as a level 2 centre referee.
